A town centre, not the beach
Waikanae township has the shops, the station, and a mix of families and people who have sold a Wellington house and moved north. Waikanae Beach is west of here and has its own page. If you are looking at both, the pre-approval covers either. The insurance and the section do not.
A lot of lending in the township is a downsizer who still has a mortgage, or a first home buyer priced out of a Wellington suburb. Those files look nothing alike. A downsizer may be borrowing less on a sale. A first home buyer is borrowing against income and KiwiSaver.
You do not have to come to Paraparaumu
The office is at Coastlands, south of Waikanae. The drive is an ordinary Kapiti trip. If you would rather not make it, we come to Waikanae or meet on video before or after your Wellington workday.
For a refinance, start about 90 days before the fixed rate ends and bring the loan statement. For a purchase, bring payslips or two years of accounts, and the KiwiSaver statement if that money is the deposit.
